Bacteria Blasta– UV water sterilisation at its best
The HCS Bacteria Blasta’s are a new and improved UV sterilisation system. Providing the best possible quality pure water to your entire house from your water tank or city mains water. Water purification has never been so easy or effective.

HCS Ltd has two UV steriliser units – the major differences between the two is being the amount of water that is able to be processed per minute, the wattage of the UV light and the “washing machine” effect that is created by the unique baffle system inside the UV tube.

HCS have identified the shortfalls of the standard UV water sterilisers found in the market today. HCS rectified these issues to ensure ALL your water is sterilised to the highest possible standard.

The Bacteria Blasta is your best solution for water purification without the use of chemicals.

Using a unique baffle system, HCS has created the “washing machine” effect – water entering the Bacteria Blasta is pushed up and over the UV light several times before exiting the tube ensuring that every dust particle (turbidity) and nasty has been well treated.

NOTE – installation of HCS’s Bacteria Blasta should be carried out by a suitably certified person.

How the Bacteria Blasta purifies your water
All untreated water contains dust particles (turbidity) and other “nasties.” As water passes through a UV steriliser, these particles and "nasties" cause a shadowing effect (see Fig. C below) which prevents some of the water coming in contact with the UV light that sterilises it.

The bottom-line is, many UV sterilisers on the market are not sterilising your water as effectively as you might hope.

Healthy Clearwater Solutions Ltd have developed a unique baffle system that sits inside the Bacteria Blasta meaning all water is pushed up and over the UV light several times before exiting.

You can be sure that water from an HCS Bacteria Blasta has been sterilised to the highest possible standard.

Another benefit of the HCS Bacteria Blasta’s unique baffle system is that the turbulent water flow assists in cleaning the quartz tube therefore increasing the efficiency and clarity of UV light passing from the UV tube and into the water. Once again, the result is a treatment that is more efficient and effective.

HCS has also developed and patented a Teflon coated quartz tube, which minimises the amount of dirt and “nasties” that stick to the quartz tube. Dirt sticking to the Quartz tube stops the UV light treating the water effectively.
